Why Do We Need Your Help?

Over the past four years, we've learned that autism isn't just about one diagnosis, it's many small diagnoses under the umbrella of Autism.

We believe that every child deserves an individualized approach to care. For Daxton, that means combining traditional therapies with very carefully selected additional approaches that align with our family's values and goals.

In addition to speech therapy, occupational therapy, adaptive swim lessons, equine therapy, and the educational services he receives at school, we hope to incorporate:

• Stem cell therapy

• Neurologically focused chiropractic care

• Targeted red light therapy

• Functional medicine

• Naturopathic medicine

• Nutritional and gut health support

• Autism Service Dog and Training

Our goal isn't to replace the therapies Daxton already receives. Instead, we hope these additional approaches will complement his existing care by supporting his overall health, nervous system regulation, communication, and quality of life.

Many of these therapies are not covered by insurance, and families pursuing them often pay entirely out of pocket. We have spent years educating ourselves, consulting with healthcare professionals, and connecting with other families before deciding that these treatments are worth pursuing for Daxton.

We know there are no guarantees.

But as parents, we believe that if there is a safe and carefully considered opportunity that may help our son, it is worth exploring.
